Life Drawing at Charleston House

On the 9th July I was lucky enough to be invited by Chinti & Parker to the Bloomsbury Group’s country cottage Charleston House. In addition to a tour of this arts and crafts full home we were also treated to a lunch by Jasmine Hemsley based on recipes from her new cook book. The meal was served on plates I hand painted in designs inspired by Charleston House.

In the afternoon I led an outdoor life drawing class with the group dressed in summer silk dresses. We sketched the female model with charcoal on paper on upright easels.
