Privacy Policy

We value your privacy and want to be transparent about how your personal data is collected and stored, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Mailing list. If you opt in to our mailing list, we hold a record of your email address and, depending on how you signed up (at checkout, in person at an event, or via the subscription box on this website), possibly also your name. This data is collected and stored via Squarespace. We use it only to send our occasional newsletter and never share it with third parties.

Orders. When you place an order, we ask for your email address so we can send receipts and order updates, and for your billing and shipping address (your phone number is optional). This information is stored on our website platform, Squarespace, and shared with our payment processor, Stripe or PayPal, in order to process payment. We never share this information with any other third party, and we do not receive or store your card or banking details.

Other contact. We may also collect your data if you contact us by email, through the website contact form, or by setting up an account. If you enter your email at checkout but do not complete your purchase, we may use it to send a reminder.

Your choices. You can change how we contact you at any time. If you are on our mailing list, every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link that also deletes your data from that list. You can otherwise contact us at any time about storing, amending or deleting your personal information at info@francescostelloe.co.uk. You can read more about your rights as an individual on the ICO website.

Security. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, but cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted online, and are not responsible for any breach of security unless it results from our negligence or wilful default.

Access requests. You have the right to ask us not to process your data for marketing purposes, and to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We do not charge a fee for this, in line with current data protection law.
