About FRances
Frances Costelloe is an artist, brand consultant, and garden designer based in London. After honing her expertise with luxury fashion and homeware brands, including Bella Freud, Frances founded her own eponymous brand in 2017. Her ceramics, art, and limited edition prints have been stocked in prestigious locations such as Liberty, Anna and Nina, Glassette and Partnership Editions.
With a keen eye for both design and nature, Frances’s work has been featured in publications ranging from Vogue, The Sunday Times Style, HTSI and the Financial Times. She has also collaborated with notable brands, including Clarins, Eyeko, and Ancient Greek Sandals, creating bespoke illustrations for products, menus and invitations.
A skilled illustrator, Frances works across a range of mediums such as ink, watercolour, and pastels. Her signature reductive line drawings are featured on ceramics, lampshades, and patterned fabric designs. Recently, Frances trained as a Garden Designer, which further infused her artwork with natural forms and botanical inspiration. Flowers, the scallop shell, and other organic motifs often appear in her work, blending her artistic practice with her newfound passion for horticulture. One of her popular collaborations—a double sellout collection of matchboxes with The Frugality—featured her distinctive scallop shell design.
Through both her art and her garden designs, Frances continues to celebrate the beauty of the natural world, creating pieces and projects that seamlessly merge creativity and nature.
