About

Frances Costelloe is an artist, brand consultant, and garden designer based in London. After honing her expertise with luxury fashion and homeware brands, including Bella Freud, Frances launched her eponymous brand in 2017. Her ceramics, artwork, and limited-edition prints have been stocked in renowned retailers such as Liberty, Anna + Nina, Glassette, and Partnership Editions.

With a keen eye for both design and nature, Frances’s work has been featured in publications including Vogue, The Sunday Times Style, HTSI, and the Financial Times. She has collaborated with leading brands such as Clarins, Eyeko, and Ancient Greek Sandals, creating bespoke illustrations for products, menus, and invitations.

A skilled illustrator, Frances works across a variety of mediums including ink, watercolour, and pastel. Her signature reductive line drawings appear on ceramics, lampshades, and textiles. Recently, she trained as a garden designer, a practice that has further infused her art with natural forms and botanical themes. Flowers, scallop shells, and other organic motifs frequently appear in her work, reflecting her deepening engagement with horticulture. A recent highlight includes a double sell-out matchbox collection with Alexandra Stedman of The Frugality, featuring her distinctive scallop shell design.

Through both her artistic and garden design practices, Frances celebrates the beauty of the natural world and creates work that blurs the boundaries between art, design, and the natural world.
